- Seanad: NAMA Transparency Bill 2011: First Stage (30 Jun 2011)
Mark Daly: I move: That leave be granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to amend the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) Act 2009 and to provide that, in the interests of transparency, all relevant details of properties offered for sale by or with the approval of NAMA be available to the public by means of publication on a website.

Mark Daly: Next Tuesday.
- Seanad: Order of Business (30 Jun 2011)
Mark Daly: I move an amendment to the Order of Business: "That No. 12 be taken before No. 1. on the Order of Business." It is a procedural issue on the publication of the NAMA Transparency Bill 2011. Will the Deputy Leader bring the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to the House to deal with the fact that the church is still not aiding the child sex abuse audit. It is an...
- Seanad: Order of Business (29 Jun 2011)
Mark Daly: I congratulate Senator Cullinane on his good news. Will the Leader make time available tomorrow for a discussion in the House on the NAMA transparency Bill, which we intend to introduce? I do not doubt that my colleague from County Kerry, Senator Paul Coghlan, will be delighted to support legislation that aims to bring transparency to the way NAMA does its business. The Bill, which is very...
- Seanad: Order of Business (29 Jun 2011)
Mark Daly: Will the Leader provide time for a discussion on the motion I have mentioned? As a resolution of the House, it would not impose any costs on the taxpayer. The person in question would not be paid a wage. At this time, it can only be for the good of everyone that a community of 80 million people be harnessed for the benefit of Ireland. I ask the Leader to support the motion.
- Seanad: Order of Business (29 Jun 2011)

- Seanad: Whistleblower Legislation: Motion (29 Jun 2011)
Mark Daly: I welcome the Minister to the House. His actions give truth to the quote: The humblest citizen in all the land, when clad in the armour or a righteous cause, is stronger than all the hosts of error. It is curious that I find myself in the situation of a whistleblower in this House - I am glad that the House affords protection to me - credible and trustworthy information that I got from a...
- Seanad: School Transport: Statements (28 Jun 2011)
Mark Daly: I wish to share time with Senators Reilly and à Domhnaill.
- Seanad: School Transport: Statements (28 Jun 2011)
Mark Daly: I welcome the Minister of State back to the House, which he is very familiar with. I do not envy him in the fact that he was in Kerry yesterday and explained the current situation. Everybody here knows of schools that are affected. Areas such as Réalt na Mara and Lauragh are particularly affected by the change. What is most disturbing is the fact that for 18 months prior to the budget...
- Seanad: Order of Business (21 Jun 2011)
Mark Daly: I propose an amendment to the Order of Business, that the Taoiseach attend the Chamber to discuss NAMA and his statement last week about his sources and what they told him. It is unusual that the Taoiseach agrees with me on concerns about developers buying back property. The Taoiseach has since rowed back but I maintain my position. My sources are willing to meet the Taoiseach to explain...
- Seanad: Order of Business (21 Jun 2011)
Mark Daly: I will, if the Taoiseach agrees to it. Fianna Fáil will propose the NAMA transparency Bill so that every asset under the control of NAMA, whether a loan or a property, will be on the NAMA website. In that way, any person in this country or beyond can see what NAMA is selling and how people can bid for it. I propose an amendment to the Order of Business requesting the Taoiseach attends the...

- Seanad: Order of Business (21 Jun 2011)
Mark Daly: The Taoiseach said the opposite. Senator Coghlan is well aware of that fact.
- Seanad: Order of Business (21 Jun 2011)
