Regulation 1393/2007 is a statutory instrument that provides for a transmitting agent, which is either the county registrar or the master to whom one applies. The intention of this proposal is to have one, centralised email address to which people apply. Is that its purpose?

Jim O'Callaghan: In terms of Regulation 1206/2001, it makes sense that we do video conferencing rather than bring people over to court but that regulation is dependent on having the facilities in courtrooms and we need to ensure that courtrooms throughout the country have video conferencing facilities available.
