Dermot Ahern: The cost of the provision of security at the site for the new prison development at Thornton Hall, Kilsallaghan, County Dublin in 2009 was â¬2,724. The cost to September 2010 was â¬2,702. I am advised by the Irish Prison Service that the requirement for security at Thornton Hall is reviewed on a regular basis having regard to the level of construction related activity taking place at the site.
