Dara Calleary: Since the commencement of the meeting, the death of Hugh Cooney, the previous chairman of EI, has been announced. We are discussing much of his legacy at this meeting. On behalf of the committee, I wish to pay tribute to Hugh for his work in the agency and especially for his courage and advocacy in recent weeks.
