Brian Stanley: A figure of just over 5,000 have status in direct provision and are in a position to move out if suitable accommodation were available. How many people in direct provision, in the IPAS system, have been refused status and what happens in that case? Of the almost 20,000 in total, how many have been refused? Mr. Kevin McCarthy may not have the exact figure.

Brian Stanley: As I recall, there was a White Paper on ending direct provision, and then Ukraine happened. I presume events overtook everything and we understand that, but my recollection of what was out there in respect of direct provision was that State-owned facilities were an option. Has there been any advancement of those plans?
