Arthur Morgan: -----so that those workers can implement a central plank of Government policy which we are always told about in this House, namely, upskilling and training? Will the Tánaiste give an undertaking that she will underwrite that course forthwith because the DIT simply cannot?

Arthur Morgan: I do not wish to test your skills, a Cheann Comhairle, which I know are excellent, but I call on the Tánaiste to answer this important question. Approximately 100 ex-SR Technics workers are depending on that support. Their social welfare is about to run out and they will not qualify for that course.
