What is the concern that once a child is diagnosed with autism they are not able to get access to CAMHS? Why is that used as a barrier for getting access?

Colm Burke: The whole historical issue with regard to mental health was that we literally parked the person in a facility and that was it. We have moved on from that but we have not replaced or provided the necessary support. The co-ordination of services is the one key area we are falling down on. Is that lack of co-ordination an easy exercise to resolve?
