Robert Troy: On the point about a greater role for the national sporting bodies in the sports capital funding allocations, that could avoid duplication and scarce resources being given to one geographical area while another area is bereft of funding.

Robert Troy: I should clarify, my point is that as more money becomes available it should be prioritised for the minority sports, as opposed to taking it from the more established ones. I have yet to meet a politician who advocates taking money away from anybody.
