Brian Walsh: I welcome the opportunity to contribute to the debate and at the outset I commend the Minister of State, Deputy Alan Kelly, for the energy and commitment he has invested in this very important industry since assuming office just two short years ago. A representative of mine, former Deputy Bobby Molloy, introduced deregulation to the industry many years ago.
