I ask the Leader to ask the Minister for Transport to come before this House in the September session to discuss the serious position regarding the number of taxi plates issued throughout the country. Terry Leyden: I ask that the Minister for Transport come to the House to speak on this matter. The taxi regulator must have some say in this matter. He should recommend a change in the rules in this regard. There must be a balanced approach to the number of taxis.
