David Stanton: On that point, there have been calls for people to arm themselves in houses. This is linked to what the Deputy is saying. As a community-based organisation, Muintir na Tíre might comment on the calls that have been made, including at some public meetings, in fact.

David Stanton: That addresses the difference between fear of crime and crime itself. Mr. Cronin might want to comment on the fear of crime and the impact it has on communities.

David Stanton: Mr. Cronin has already spoken about people being deprived of a driving licence if they are driving a vehicle that has been used in the course of a robbery, which is an interesting point. He has spoken about cross-jurisdiction policing. Could he expand on what he means by cross-jurisdiction policing and how it operates on the ground?
