- Committee on Key Issues affecting the Traveller Community: Funding Strategy for Traveller-Specific Accommodation: Discussion (19 Jun 2025)
John Connolly: I am sure I will figure it out as we go along. I thank Mr. O'Sullivan for the copy provided. What role or remit does the social inclusion unit of the Department have other than funding for the provision of Traveller-specific accommodation? Perhaps there is a greater role for the Department in making sure facilities are maintained to a better standard.
- Committee on Key Issues affecting the Traveller Community: Funding Strategy for Traveller-Specific Accommodation: Discussion (19 Jun 2025)
John Connolly: I will not take long. The questions arise out of some of the answers we received from the Department officials who were here previously. There was much commentary beforehand about how some halting sites are in poor condition and could do with more...
- Committee on Key Issues affecting the Traveller Community: Funding Strategy for Traveller-Specific Accommodation: Discussion (19 Jun 2025)
John Connolly: Regarding the emergency scheme, that was not touched on by officials previously. - Residential Tenancies (Amendment) Bill 2025: Second Stage (18 Jun 2025)
John Connolly: It has been very interesting to observe the debate and listen to the significant criticism and disapproval on the part of Opposition Members of what the Minister is bringing forward.
