- Joint Oireachtas Committee on Education and Skills: Higher Education Grants: Wake Up SUSI (13 Oct 2016)
Jim Daly: I also welcome the group and commend it, as other speakers have done, on its campaign. The witnesses' presentations were very impressive and have given us plenty of food for thought. - Joint Oireachtas Committee on Education and Skills: State Examinations: Motions (13 Oct 2016)
Jim Daly: The reason I do not wish for the committee to proceed with this motion to the next level is that I think we should be avoiding division and votes in so far as practicable on an issue such as this one where we all share the same common goal and concern. My main driving force is to avoid division and votes where possible.
