Jan O'Sullivan: No. The job of the Teaching Council is to decide whether somebody is appropriate and fit to teach. It is not to interfere in any way and I would not want to interfere in any way. It is absolutely nothing to do with industrial disputes or issues involving junior cycle reform. I give my absolute assurance on that.
