Denis O'Donovan: The Senator needs to be careful. She was allowed four minutes - usually people take two, but she took seven. When I ring the bell it indicates that her time is up. The trouble is that if I grant her latitude, someone will come along the next day and say that I gave Senator Freeman seven minutes.
