- Seanad: Enforcement of Court Orders (Amendment) Bill 2009: Second Stage (7 Jul 2009)
Maurice Cummins: On a point of order, the Leader of the House gave an undertaking that there would be no guillotining of any Bill. If people are not allowed to speak, I would deem that as guillotining the Bill. We have people who wish to speak and the Leader gave an undertaking earlier today that there would not be a guillotine on any Bill in this House. This is effectively guillotining the Bill.

Maurice Cummins: The Minister stated that Government members reduced their salaries by 10% last October and that Ministers of State made a similar reduction. Was that 10% of the total salary of Ministers and Ministers of State, including their Dáil salary, or was it 10% of only the ministerial part of it? I understand that the 10% reduction applies only to the ministerial part of their salary and it is...
