Micheál Martin: Basically, people needing medical care will go to their medical officer. They are then referred to a consultant, of their choice really, but depending on the medical discipline or the issue. The cost is fully reimbursed.

Micheál Martin: Deputy Stanton is from east Cork, so a curveball is nothing new to him. It is a very reasonable question to ask, by the way. I have to be honest with the Deputy and say I have not yet addressed this issue with the military leadership and I will have to come back to him on it. The obvious issues arise.

Micheál Martin: Companies, obviously. As I said earlier, if a company is providing an aircraft and if the aircraft comes in in a given year and we have paid the invoice, we will get a bump up. This represents the €50 million that was converted from current to capital expenditure.

Micheál Martin: It is not broken down into languages. About €5 million was spent on military education and training. Suffice to say, we do a lot of training in the Defence Forces. There is a lot of education, which is good. There is a lot of advancement and progress. I will check that for the Deputy. It is a fair point because people serve overseas and language is important.
