Noel Dempsey: I understand from Iarnród Éireann that they are currently in discussions with the Local Authorities concerned regarding the removal of level crossings on the Maynooth line. The position regarding plans for the resignalling of the city centre area is that the scheme is now included in Iarnród Éireann's capital investment programme, and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2011.
