James Lawless: It is, perhaps because the numbers dictate it as such. However, we welcome the Bill. There are a large number of Labour Party Bills and motions being brought before the House now and I often wonder why they were not brought forward in those five years when the numbers were different and the party was in a position to have more effect. However, it is better late than never.

James Lawless: Fianna Fáil, as always, will be the champion of workers' rights and we are glad to support the passing of the Bill.
