Michael Fitzmaurice: Yes. The amendment would allow for the inclusion of Waterford and Rosslare ports and the other areas I mentioned. In 2012 Waterford was connected by rail to Galway and Ballina. The amendment will come under discussion at a trilogue in the coming weeks. Is "trilogue" the correct term to use?

I presume Ireland could table a further amendment proposing the inclusion of places such as Killybegs, Galway Port and Ireland West Airport, Knock. The latter can receive special status as it is in a peripheral area and because of the implications of Brexit, that is acceptable in Europe....
