Olivia Mitchell: On a point of clarification, both the green list of Report Stage amendments and the book of amendments published today refer to Report Stage. We are now back on Committee Stage. Is it technically correct to have these amendments headed "Report Stage"?

Olivia Mitchell: It is not a question of facilitating the House in any way. The Minister is legally obliged to recommit because the amendments were not discussed on Committee Stage.

At the end of his term of office, will the post of commissioner be publicly advertised or will the appointee be recruited from within the Civil Service?
