- Report on Mental Health Care: Motion (10 May 2018)
John Lahart: At the outset, I want to acknowledge the final comments made by Deputy Penrose. It is that kind of courageous contribution which helps advance the progress of the entire debate on mental health. I also want to acknowledge the work done by my colleague, Deputy Browne, on the Mental Health Parity Bill 2017. It is ironic to think that, in 2018, we are looking at the topic of mental health...

John Lahart: It is a fascinating debate. Professor Morgenroth hints that he will return to the subject and that further analysis is needed so I look forward to hearing more. - Topical Issue Debate: Traffic Management (2 May 2018)
John Lahart: The Minister is welcome and I thank him for attending. I know he makes a point of attending for Topical Issue matters and it is very much appreciated. The M50, the major ring road around Dublin carrying between 100,000 and 150,000 cars every day, is at a standstill at peak times. Accidents which happen cause complete logjams and backlogs and affect both sides of the road, feeder roads...

There are no park and ride facilities...
