More than a year ago, legislation was promised to provide for people in mortgage arrears. Up to 37,000 families are in serious arrears with their mortgage repayments with many of them before the courts.

I would regard this legislation as urgently required to improve and enhance our standing in international markets at this sensitive time. When will it be introduced in the House?
