Barry Cowen: No, they merely gave an opinion on what was taking place. They cannot and are not obliged to do any more, but we, as legislators, are elected to make recommendations to the Dáil. I am not getting sufficient information or advice on the CPO legislation for me to recommend change. The Government, on the other hand, has the Office of the Attorney General and her staff at its disposal.
