In regard to school examinations, what do the witnesses have in mind? Would it be a screening process or a normal medical examination such as that which might occur in schools? What is proposed?

Bernard Durkan: Has consideration been given to the possible benefits of conducting a pilot scheme in a given area to examine the issue in all aspects with a view to giving the best possible advice to sufferers and perhaps expanding that thereafter to a national scheme with the full support of the Department of Health? Has any research been conducted into how beneficial that might be?
