Bríd Smith: I want to make a very simple point to the Minister and everyone else. The whole purpose of this tribunal was to be attractive to the women.

Bríd Smith: We want them to be able to take their cases without going through the suffering, exposure and dilemmas associated with public High Court appearances. This is not attractive. This legislation makes it very unattractive. Amendment No. 10, which proposes the deletion of the words "and shall be accompanied by a waiver", has been ruled out of order.
