Willie Penrose: I wish to raise a matter that is causing great angst and despair among those in the farming community, which is the sneaky cut introduced in the budget of â¬28 million for the fallen animal scheme. Regarding animal health and welfare, the Government has made no plans regarding the disposal of dead animals. It will cost every farmer â¬160 to dispose of them.
