All enquires relating to individual applications for driving licences are handled by the National Driver Licence Service (NDLS), provided by the Road Safety Authority (RSA). Hildegarde Naughton: My Department cannot provide an estimate on the revenue generated from the release of seized vehicles. All charges due for the detention, removal and storage of a seized vehicle must be paid in full at a nominated Garda Compound before the vehicle can be released. My Department does not have access to these figures, as Garda operational matters fall under the remit of the Department of Justice.
