David Norris: -----as we opposed when RTÉ tried to close the long-wave transmission, which was so valued by elderly Irish people living in Britain. We stopped RTÉ from doing so. Therefore, I think we can, once again, with the best will in the world towards RTÉ, intervene to stop it closing the terrestrial broadcast of political issues.
