Paul McAuliffe: One of the concerns we had about the provision of emergency accommodation related to NQSF standards for public and private accommodation. Under recommendation 11, Ms Hayes talked about a process, but I did not think there was a timeline for the establishment of an NQSF for private operators. Is it possible to put a timeline on that now?

This committee is of the view that they should not be different and the same standards should apply regardless of who operates a service.
