Joint Oireachtas Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government: Interim Report on Homelessness: Discussion (8 Feb 2022)

Paul McAuliffe: There is so much for us to cover in such a short period. I felt some sympathy for Ms Hayes as she tried to deal with all her recommendations. I have no doubt we will try to tease all of them out in our questioning. I will go straight to that. There has been a decrease in the number of people sleeping rough, from 139 to 94. Every person makes a difference. In respect of recommendation...

Joint Oireachtas Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government: Interim Report on Homelessness: Discussion (8 Feb 2022)

Paul McAuliffe: The last point I will make is that there was significant concern around the origin of people in the context of homelessness.
