Holly Cairns: To add briefly to what the other Deputies have said, these amendments are important to highlight the obligations of relevant bodies to provide information for adopted people. It is an important departure, providing proactive responses to the rights of adopted people. I will leave it at that.

The Minister has refused amendments based on the likely unavailability of information or even the existence of such information. This restriction falls into that category.
