Catherine Noone: I have made requests for some time for a debate on the future of the Seanad at whatever hour is deemed appropriate by whomever the Taoiseach deems qualified to speak to us about it. It is a crude suggestion to cut off one arm of the Legislature when the other arm is completely dysfunctional. We function compared to the Dáil.
