It is currently the case that if land was bought before 31 July 2021 and planning permission for it granted before July 2021, there is no requirement to provide 10% affordable housing under Part V. I am not talking about luxury homes...

Kieran O'Donnell: There is normally a backup, be it for a machine or an IT system. I find it incredible that a main service would go down and the backup service would go down as well. Was the backup service not tested to ensure that, if the main system went down, the backup was fit for purpose?
