Noel Dempsey: I have received no such recommendations from the Equality Authority. The Deputy will note that the prohibition on discrimination on the ground of gender in the Employment Equality Acts 1998 to 2008 and the Equal Status Acts 2000 to 2008, regarding employment and the supply of and access to goods and services respectively, also applies to transgendered persons.
