Seán Kyne: With regard to licensing and revoking a licence, for example, if there was an issue with a certain provider under this legislation and that provider had 100 employees providing home care across a region and its licence was revoked, that home care would stop immediately, one would assume.

Seán Kyne: For example, if the issue was with one employee who was not providing the level of care that would be required or sufficient, presumably the onus would be on the company to deal with that situation rather than removing the 100 employees which would have a huge, immediate impact on the people they are looking after.

Seán Kyne: Regarding licensing, Ms Larthwell stated that there are no data at the moment for how many providers there are nationwide. We know the main ones that advertise on national and social media. Can she guess how many providers there are?
