Kevin Humphreys: Professor Honohan's statement that he will help the joint committee by obtaining the figure is positive in light of the speculation that surrounds this issue. Perhaps he and the Minister for Finance will assist us further by adopting the approach I have outlined, which I believe would generate considerable savings.
