John Gormley: The Letterkenny Sewerage Scheme is included for funding in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2007-09. I approved Donegal County Council's tender documents for the wastewater and sludge treatment elements of the scheme in April 2008 and my Department is now awaiting submission of the Council's tender recommendation.

John Gormley: The Freshford/Johnstown/Goresbridge Sewerage Scheme is included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2007 â 2009 at an estimated cost of â¬7.9 million. I approved the Preliminary Report for the scheme last November and it is now a matter for Kilkenny County Council to progress the preparation of contract documents.

John Gormley: The Little Island Sewerage Scheme, which will serve the Clash and Well Road areas, is approved for funding under my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2007-2009 at a cost of â¬1.76 million. My Department approved Cork County Council's design review report in 2007 and I understand that the Council is currently seeking tenders for the scheme.
