Jonathan O'Brien: Since 2008, there has been over 400 work-related fatalities and the Law Reform Commission, as far back as 2005, identified for need legislation for the offence of corporate manslaughter. The Bill that my party has produced today is in 13 Parts and it outlines the offence of corporate manslaughter and also the penalties associated with it.
