There are far more people coming to our shores than we anticipated. The second thing is we will work with our EU partners. This will be a decision for the Department of Justice. Heather Humphreys: I take on board the points the Deputy is making but the directive will not expire until May 2025. The Minister for Justice will have discussions with our EU partners on this matter. As I said, I have no doubt the Government will do the right thing when that time comes.
