James Browne: An amendment to section 25 may be required on Report Stage to repeal a provision of the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015, which amended the principal Act. This provision is in respect of the anti-money laundering regulation of barristers and has now been superseded.

James Browne: The plan in the Department is that once this legislation has been enacted, any statutory instruments that are required will be enacted as quickly as possible. I cannot give the Deputy a definite date on when that will occur this far removed. This discussion completes the justice elements of the Bill but there might be a number of finance elements to be tweaked.
