- Seanad: Order of Business (18 Apr 2013)
Terry Leyden: They were blown in and they will be blown out as fast. A gale works both ways.
- Seanad: Order of Business (18 Apr 2013)
Terry Leyden: I do not want to give my view of the gale. I ask Senators to bear in mind that gales can go in reverse. I ask the Deputy Leader to convince the Government to take Committee Stage of Senator Kelly's Bill as she is so persuasive.
- Seanad: Order of Business (18 Apr 2013)
Terry Leyden: Senator Bacik is special within the Labour Party. I support the good proposal made by Senator O'Donovan to deal with the fodder crisis, which was supported by other Senators. The crisis is evident and there is not one bale of hay left where I live in the parish of Athleague-Fuerty. In my area people sell them at a normal price but the cost of buying fodder from mills and so on is a terrible...

Terry Leyden: I second the proposed amendment to the Order of Business. The acting leader of the Opposition, Senator Marc MacSharry, tabled item 16 on the Order Paper. It is...

Terry Leyden: I have a question for the Taoiseach.
- Seanad: Order of Business (28 Mar 2013)
Terry Leyden: I wish to make a good suggestion to the Taoiseach when he considers a reshuffle in due course. The polls are encouraging.
