Brian Stanley: I cannot see why not.

Public Accounts Committee: Business of Committee (25 Jan 2024)

Brian Stanley: It is 7 March. That concludes consideration of the work programme. Is there any other business in the public session that members wish to raise? Housing and Homeless Prevention: Motion (Resumed) [Private Members] (23 Jan 2024)

In fact, it is almost impossible to enter the private rental...

An tOrd Gnó - Order of Business (23 Jan 2024)

Brian Stanley: I wish to raise the issue of driver test waiting times. I got figures recently in response to a parliamentary question and there is a waiting time of 24 weeks in the Birr test centre, 25 weeks in Portlaoise and 43 weeks in Kilkenny city. This is according to the figures I got. It is a scandalous delay. I have taken up this matter before with the Minister. It is particularly affecting...

The evidence...

Brian Stanley: A review system is still there. I find that helpful for people so that when further information comes to light there is no need even to waste time nor tie up resources.
