Leo Varadkar: Since 2006 my Department has spent €18,654 on advertising with international media, €1,463,496 on national media and €187,535 on local media. Included in the national expenditure is a figure of some €29,000 incurred in 2008. A portion of this expenditure was incurred in local media but the breakdown is not immediately available to the Department.
