Vote 41 - Policing Authority (Revised)
(18 Apr 2018)

Clare Daly: I am quite concerned about this one. The Minister obviously knows that we have finally ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, under which we are required to set up an advisory group on people with disabilities to work with the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission to monitor that. Monitoring implementation will require resourcing and funding, which do...

(18 Apr 2018)

Clare Daly: My point is that this is a new function that the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission is being given. It needs to be done effectively.
