Denis O'Donovan: I just received information that a good Corkman has been appointed as the new Tánaiste. It is a great honour for him. I knew his late father very well.

Denis O'Donovan: It is unfortunate that his appointment came with the loss of a very nice lady who was a member of this House for many years. She departed in an unfortunate set of circumstances. On a personal level, I wish her the very best. It is nice to see the real capital of Ireland being acknowledged.
