- Public Accounts Committee: Special Report No. 94 of the Comptroller and Auditor General: National Asset Management Agency Sale of Project Eagle (Resumed) (18 Oct 2016)
Catherine Connolly: That is the first time that has been said in front of this committee. I thank Mr. Ellingham for his clarity. He is clearly saying that if he was aware that the bidder was using the same law firm as the previous bidder, it would alert him to something being wrong. I would not even go that far. It would ring bells, would it not?
- Public Accounts Committee: Special Report No. 94 of the Comptroller and Auditor General: National Asset Management Agency Sale of Project Eagle (Resumed) (18 Oct 2016)
Catherine Connolly: I understand that but I am sticking with general points for the moment. He did not seem to think that there might be a problem with the same but perhaps I am being unfair to him.

Catherine Connolly: -----on April Fools' Day, which is significant. In any event, the two bids were put in and on 3 April, the preferred bidder was named. Is that right? Am I wrong?
