Matt Carthy: Other heads of State boards earn less than the €141,000 this gentleman was given, on top of the scheme he should have applied for, on an annual basis. I cannot understand how the Accounting Officer of a Department, which, through a convoluted process, gives money to a body that represents 100% of that body's funding, can just sit back and accept that this is something it has done.
