Catherine Connolly: Pressure in the Northern Ireland background is the other chapter. NAMA told the Comptroller and Auditor General that it could not ignore the political background in Northern Ireland. Extraordinarily, the chairman or CEO of NAMA stated that it would have preferred to have dealt with a vulture fund. Was Mr. McGuinness aware of this level of hostility? Does he agree with that statement?

Catherine Connolly: After the sale was completed, there was an extraordinary series of phone calls on the third or fourth day of the month. They set out that the former Vice President of America would phone the former First Minister and so on and asked what his number was and whether it was okay to phone him. Was Mr. McGuinness contacted?
