Mary White: If Senator McCain were in Ireland he would not be allowed to serve on a jury. People over the age of 70 cannot sit on a jury. Why should our older citizens be deprived of giving their experience on a jury?

Mary White: When Dr. Patricia Comer, who practices as a GP in Haddington Road in Dublin, turned 70 two years ago, she was told she could no longer treat her public patients but could continue to treat her private patients indefinitely.
