Tom Hayes: Yesterday the Joint Committee on the Environment, Heritage and Local Government heard proposals or submissions from many groups representing bodies throughout rural Ireland in respect of hunting and the banning of many sports. There is a vast difference of opinion between what the Fianna Fáil Deputies stated at the committee and what the Green Party Deputies and Senators stated.
